Hello good WVAA people. I was hoping for some advice where in central WV my wife and I could stay at a cabin and view the Milky Way clearly at night. 4 years ago we lived in Southern Idaho and could just drive 30 minutes out of Boise and have a beautiful Bortles 2 dark sky to view it, but now in Morgantown, WV, I haven’t viewed the mesmerizing Milky Way ever since we left Idaho. Any advice of where we can go, hopefully no more than a 2 hour drive from us (we have a disabled child which can make longer drives challenging) and find a cabin where we can stay a night or 2 and look up at the beautiful dark sky at night would be welcome. Thanks! 🙂
